Caleb Knobel
Born and raised in Colorado, trained in California, back to Colorado, and now settled in the Black Hills, I have over 12 years of tattoo industry experience. After owning and operating a full studio in Colorado for 10 years, I felt the pull and desire to pursue a simpler way of living. Nature, family, and art. Those desires led me right here, to the Heart of the Black Hills. I feel blessed to be here, to be a professional artist, and to meet and work with people just like you!

The Studio
White Buffalo Studio strives to be a place worthy of your trust. We work hard to make sure your tattoo appointment is private, comfortable, friendly, and clean. Getting a tattoo is not simply a transaction, it is an experience that will be eternally tied to your new body art...and our goal is to make sure it's a positive one
.In order to keep our studio a sacred space, all tattoo work is done by appointment only. So book your next session today!

Tattoos
I like to describe my tattoo style as "illustrative realism". It's a style that I have developed over the years to walk the line between fine detail realism and the lasting power of black ink illustration. Like the style and have an idea for your next piece? I'm looking forward to working with you :)

The Legend
Why White Buffalo? We feel very blessed to be in the Black Hills and want to pay respects to those that have been here before us and embrace our time here in the present. For the Lakota tribe, The White Buffalo is said to be a sign of prayers heard, a turning point in creation, a warning to reassess our paths, and a beacon of hope and rejuvenation. This studio, in my life, has been an answer to prayer, a turning point after reassessing my life's path, and my intention is that it be a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who walk through the door.
